Dreams...

  • Mood: Confused...
  • Music: The Rocketeer Soundtrack.

Hmmm...odd.

I keep having these dreams. What's really weird is the fact that they're so real I half-beleive them, even after I wake up.

Here's how it goes; I dream that I'm just doing normal things at home like playing with my dogs or typing on the computer. But the only thing that's 'off' about it is the fact that I can levitate things by pointing at them with my hand and concentrating.  And no one in the dream thinks it's unusual except my parents! They just tell me not to do that. Not why I shouldn't; just "'Don't do that."

I don't know how to explain...only all I do is open my hand and aim it at, say, a marker or pen and think 'come here, please', and it floats over and lands squarely in my palm.  The creepy part is that I actually feel something right above my temples whiole it's floating. Not like a headache but just pressure, like when I've been staring at the computer screen in a dark room for too long. It intensifies when I first 'call' to it but then lowers down until the object is in my hand. And it's not just calling things to my hands; it's also moving other, bigger things around. I've done things in my dream as practical as feeding my fish and as silly as playing chess and making the peices 'dance'.

I've been having dreams similar to this all my life, but it used to be that I dreamt I could float. Not fly; just sort of hover over the ground. Once I dreamt that the wind blew me right off the ground and I floated up, up, up until my dad was just a tiny speck below. But within the past few months or so I've been having the levitation powers dreams.

I wish I knew what these dreams mean and why they're so real. They've happened so often now that sometimes I even wonder if they were really dreams at all. Looking back on them seems more like a memory than a dream....  UUGH!

Oh, well. I'd better go now before my random ramblings turn into a novel!
