Hello! Welcome to my online journal! Go ahead and look around!
Good gravy, what happened?
Well, for starters, Mom had a seizure in late August and our lives have been forever changed. She's okay, but still recovering. Then our lease expired in September and we downsized from a large 1200-1300 sq ft house with a 1/2 acre yard to a 725 sq ft 'cookie tin'. (AKA a mobile home) Everyone has been adapting well to the changes, even our pets.
The upside? We once again have DSL!
Yeesh, if I let this thing go for that long again, feel free to...I don't know. Kick me or something.
We are DEFINATELY moving.
Why is it official now and not when I first posted?
Because now we've actually packed a set of dishes (one of two incomplete sets we have). Usually that waits until the last second, but this time we're not fooling around. ALL of my stuff is already packed, with the exception of the essentials (toothbrush, hairbrush, clothes, and laptop). A lot of the knickknacks are packed, along with Mom's teapot collection and good china. Aaron's sooo lucky...he actually gets to have some of his stuff moved over today! Hope he remembers to take measurements.
Why, you ask, when I have to have seen a house I will be living in already, even if it will be for only seven and a half months?
Because I HAVEN'T seen it!
I did some work in the front yard and saw the garage and living room, but beyond that...I have no clue what it looks like aside from my family's descriptions. Why? I don't know. I just haven't gotten a chance yet...and it's driving me BATTY!
They say the backyard is huge...how huge? The bedrooms are small...how small? The kitchen has granite countertops...what color??? I've seen the tile and wood floors, which are very nice, but how can I figure out how to arrange my furniture if I don't know how big my room is or even WHERE it is?!?!?!?
Okay, enough rambling. I think I'm going to buy a newspaper today so we can keep packing. Hopefully I can go over to the house and see what the heck the thing looks like....
(like a bug on a widnsheild)

(take a wild guess...)
That's right. We're moving again! 'Will this never end?'
Oh, well. It has a HUGE yard and hard floors that the dog can't easily destroy.
Oh yeah, how could I forget? I HAVE A DOG NOW!!!
I got her 'way back in August and she's all but perfect. Her name is Menolly, and she's a 9 1/2 month oldpurebred Lemon Beagle. A total sweetheart, and...well, if you want to know more about her, visit the Dog Blog on the Pet page of my website.
(shamless plug)
I also have a job!
I'm an amatuer gardener; pulling weeds, planting flowers, putting down mulch, tearing out sod, leveling ground...fun stuff.
At least I'm getting a fairly regular paycheck.
Well, this is the UndercoverJedi, apologizing for now signing in more and hoping to keep this thing updated more often...(yeah, right)
Happy, but tired.
"I'll get you, my pretty!"
it's raining, too!
I think so far I've put out 21 applications...and gotten only one interveiw.

That about says it...Ugh. What a nightmare.
Since I last posted we've been going through family issues, a major move, and now it looks like we're going to give away our pets.
My movie has been put on hold, and so has school. Right now we're just trying to survive.
Sorry I've been gone so long, but, well...I think you can see where I'm coming from. About the only good thing that has come about is I've gtten new transportation (a bike) and I've written a screenplay for a short film, 'Cleaning the Room'. It's suppossed to be a comedy about a teenager who does not want to clean his room. Sounds familliar, doesn't it?
Well, I'd better go now. I'll post more when I get the chance, and update this thing as soon as we're settled. Pardon me if I seem a little depressed.

, but happy!
YAY!!!! It snowed last night!
Not enough to do much with, but snow.
I took a walk around the block and took a look. I pity all the people that slept in this morning! They'll miss it! But maybe it's okay. If the kids had known it snowed, they'd be all over it in a minute, making snowballs and creating a rukus...and all but ruining the picture!
Don't get me wrong, I love watching kids playing in snow. But when there's not that much to begin with, I'd rather it be left undisturbed so we can walk in a living postcard.
Okay, I'm kinda rambling.
What did I did with it? I stomped in what little there was (out in the desert; some people don't like footprints in their lawns

, just to hear that delightful crunching sound. I also spent a while making a 'perfect' snowball and wondering what to do with it...until Dad tossed some at me as he was scraping off the windsheild! He missed, but I let him have it! I caught him right in the rear.
I'd better go now. I have Self Defense class today. and there's bound to be more snow at the college; the Apple and Lucerne Valleys were predeicted to have about four to six inches of the fluffy white stuff, and VVC is right on the edge of Apple Valley. I know the predictions were probably correct, 'cause they predicted about an inch for the rest of the High Desert; and we got it.
Okay, later!

Hello! I apologize for being gone for a while, but guess what? College started up again!
It's going pretty smooth so far. I've got Animation
and Women's Choir
on Mondays and Wednesdays, Biology
on Tuesdays and Thurdays, and Self Defense
on Saturdays. It's going well, only I'm sore from all the stretching and escaping from chokeholds yesterday.
But it's fun. Someone suggested I tape the stick fighting and paste in
lightsaber sounds.
Hmm, good idea!
My moviemaking has been at a standstill ever since classes started up again. I'm over halfway done with the storyboards and am getting closer to 'official' screenplay form, but it's uphill work. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get it done! Other times, I keep thinking all I can do is try. Then I remember the words of Yoda:
'Do or Do not; there is no try'. Or my version of the quote: 'Dew or Dew not; there is no Sprite'.
Costuming is nearly dead, too. But I'm busy; I have a life...I think.
I can't think of much else to write, only I just finished watching Episode One for the fiftieth time....or was it the hundreth? Oh, well. Who's counting?
Goodbye!
Happy!
Whoa! I haven't been here in a while, have I? Well, I'm back, and I have a few updates;
First of all, College has started up again and I'm taking Biology, Women's Choir (for the 3rd time), Self-Defense, (for the 2nd time) and a computer animation class! The latter is starting to look like a lot of fun. If this works out, I may change my career aspirations from veterinarian to animator.
I can't draw for beans, but that's okay. The majority of camputer animation is just clicking a mouse around and knowing which button does what. Cheating? I don't think so. It still takes skill and patience.
In other news, did I mention before that I'm planning on making a few short movies? I've finished the script for the first and am working on a website for the production 'company'. It's not really a company, though, 'cause it's just four people right now (me and my family) and I don't have the name copyrighted. Too expensive for a cheapskate like me...for now.
The name? Flying Arrow Produtions. And yes, I did check and make sure it's not already taken. There's a Flying Arrow hotel or two, but that's about it.
Need to get going now. My mom doesn't like it when I hog the phone lines.
C-ya!
but tired
I've gone a little MIDI-crazy.
I just love music so much, I don't care what form it's in. Especially movie soundtracks. The music of John Williams, James Horner, Henry Mancini, and several others, I absolutely adore. John Williams has to be my all-time favorite, though. SW music rocks!
Along with Indy
, ET, Jurassic Park, you get the idea.
My real weakness in music is good piano scores (Rocketeer, Deep Impact, etc) and good flute/Celtic music. I can cry when I hear a good one.
Sometimes even the music from Titanic can get me going; even though I hate the movie. It's funny, I can adore music to a movie I can't stand. Oh, well. Such is the nature of music.
Added a few new links, hope you'll check them out! Some of the dioramas and jumbo models at FBTB.net are nothing short of amazing!
They really put the official LEGO sets to shame.
I'd better get to bed now. Goodnight!
